The Stage Server

The stage server runs a new server build that will be deployed to the production servers (MDDS_NJ_HOSTS) every Saturday. This server might not have reliable data access and is considered unstable. It is also rebooted frequently.

Connect to the MDDS Stage Server

Navigate to the configuration file and set the value MDDS_REGION from

MDDS_REGION=MDDS_NJ_HOSTS

to

MDDS_REGION=MDDS_STAGE_HOSTS

Connect to the FPSS Stage Server

Navigate to the configuration file and set the value FPSS_REGION from

FPSS_REGION=FPSS_NJ_HOSTS

to

FPSS_REGION=FPSS_STAGE_HOSTS

After restarting the Theta Terminal, you should connect to the test server. The server region field (MDDS_REGION or FPSS_REGION) is a list of IP / port configurations that the Theta Terminal attempts to connect to. It is important that you change this value back to NJ_HOSTS for production use.
